Do you have an interest in finding out about your ancestors? Have you seen the TV show “Who Do You Think You Are?” and want to learn more? This presentation by Karen Dwyer is for entry level researchers seeking to understand what to look for and how. It covers such topics as obituaries, cemeteries, interviewing relatives, using different internet resources, and keeping yourself organized.

Karen has been researching her family for over 25 years in the United States, Canada, England, Germany, and Ireland. She has self-published seven books on her family and her husband’s family. She is a longtime Utica Public Library genealogy volunteer and a member of the DAR.
