Loans & Late Fees

Library cards are issued free of charge and may be used throughout the Mid-York Library System. Patrons must provide identification with a current address to apply for library cards. Cards expire in three years and can be renewed if the record is clear of fines or lost book charges and all personal information is up to date.

Patrons may check up to five (5) DVDs and five (5) music CDs at one time.

DVDs must be checked out on an Adult card.

Holds may be picked up after 9:30 am at the circulation desk. 

Fines 

Utica Public Library is now fine free. All items checked out at Utica Public Library will not be charged a late fee. This DOES NOT include lost or damaged items, or items checked out at another library. Any borrower with a bill on their account or who has overdue items will not be allowed to borrow additional materials. 

Failure to return any library materials in a timely manner or to pay for lost or damaged materials could result in revocation of any or all library privileges at the discretion of the Director.
